Mongolia Launches Mongolian Edition of “Tibet Explained”

On 20 June 2025, Ulaanbaatar hosted the launch of the Mongolian translation of Tibet Explained: Legal Status, Rights and State Responsibility by Dr. Michael van Walt van Praag. The event, held at the American Corner, included a public lecture titled “Restoring Peace in Inner Asia.” Organized by Telo Tulku Rinpoche, Diluv Hutugthu Foundation, and the American Centre for Mongolian Studies, the launch marked a step in raising Tibet awareness in Mongolia. The book offers a legal and historical analysis of Tibet’s status and is expected to serve as a key educational resource for scholars and policymakers.
