Tibetans to Lobby US Congress, Celebrate Dalai Lama's 90th

Hundreds of Tibetan Americans and supporters will gather in Washington, DC, on June 25–26 for Tibet Lobby Day, urging Congress to uphold US support for Tibet. Organized by the International Campaign for Tibet, the event includes meetings with lawmakers and a celebration of the Dalai Lama’s upcoming 90th birthday. Advocates will push for a resolution honoring the Dalai Lama’s contributions to peace and religious freedom and reaffirming opposition to Chinese interference in Tibetan reincarnation. This marks the 16th annual Tibet Lobby Day, emphasizing human rights and access to Tibet.
