CTA Commemorates 155th Gandhi Jayanti, Honoring Non-Violence Principles

Central Tibetan Administration marked the 155th Gandhi Jayanti at Gangchen Kyishong, honoring Mahatma Gandhi’s legacy of non-violence. According to Tibet.net, Kalon Tharlam Dolma Changra emphasized the global and Tibetan significance of Gandhi's teachings, especially in promoting peace amid global unrest. Alongside her, Kalon Norzin Dolma and other officials participated in the ceremony, which included lighting a butter lamp and paying tribute to Gandhi’s portrait. Gandhi’s principles remain central to the Tibetan struggle, as His Holiness the Dalai Lama has often highlighted.
