CTA Marks 67th Tibetan Uprising Day With Global Lawmakers

The Central Tibetan Administration commemorated the 67th Tibetan National Uprising Day in Dharamshala, drawing prominent international lawmakers to honor decades of resistance against China's occupation. Sikyong Penpa Tsering led the solemn tribute, launching a new publication on Tibet’s diplomatic history. Global dignitaries, including former European Parliament President Hans-Gert Pöttering and Czech Senator Jiri Oberfalzer, strongly condemned Beijing’s ongoing cultural genocide. Leaders demanded the immediate release of the Panchen Lama and reaffirmed that only the Dalai Lama holds authority over his reincarnation.
